Authors are invited to make a submission to this journal. All submissions will be assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of this journal. Those considered to be a good fit will be sent for peer review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected.
Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.
An editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure that the study design and research argument are structured and articulated properly. The title should be concise and the abstract should be able to stand on its own. This will increase the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to review the paper. When you're satisfied that your submission meets this standard, please follow the checklist below to prepare your submission.
Official Author Guidelines for IJSDCS
The International Journal of Solutions-Driven Christian Scholarship (IJSDCS) welcomes original, peer-reviewed, applied research papers from scholars worldwide. In alignment with our foundational mandate under the International Federal Technical College of Faith, all submissions must demonstrate rigorous academic methodology aimed at solving contemporary global problems through a Christ-centered framework.
Core Manuscript Requirements
To ensure an efficient review process, all submitted manuscripts must strictly adhere to the following baseline structural standards:
Originality:Manuscripts must be original works that have not been previously published or are not currently under consideration by any other journal.
Applied Focus:The paper must explicitly feature an "Applied Solutions" or "Practical Implications" section demonstrating how the research resolves a specific real-world crisis.
Word Count:Full-length research articles must be between 5,000 and 8,000 words, including references, tables, and abstract.
Language:All submissions must be written in clear, concise English (either UK or US spelling is acceptable, but it must be consistent throughout).
Formatting & Structure
Manuscripts should be compiled into a single Microsoft Word document (.doc or .docx) using the following layout rules:
Typography:Times New Roman, 12-point font, with 5 line spacing and 1-inch (2.54 cm) margins on all sides.
Title Page (Submitted Separately):To preserve our double-blind peer review process, the main manuscript file must contain no author names or institutional affiliations. Upload a separate Title Page containing:
Full title of the manuscript.
Full names, institutional affiliations (e.g., Daystar University, Kenya), and email addresses of all authors.
Identification of the corresponding author.
Abstract:A single, unstructured paragraph of 150 to 250 words summarizing the problem statement, applied methodology, key results, and practical real-world impact.
Keywords:Provide 4 to 6 specific keywords or short phrases below the abstract for indexing purposes.
Mandatory Section Outline
Every standard empirical research paper submitted to IJSDCS must follow this clear structural roadmap:
Introduction & Problem Statement:What specific societal or global problem is this research addressing?
Theological Framework / Christ-Centered Context:How do Christian ethics, biblical principles, or faith-informed values guide the understanding of this issue?
Literature Review:A brief analysis of previous academic work in this area.
Methodology:A detailed, reproducible layout of how the research data was collected and analyzed.
Results & Discussion:Clear presentation of findings using concise tables and figures where necessary.
Applied Solutions & Global Impact:A dedicated narrative detailing how these findings can be practically implemented to serve God and uplift human communities.
Conclusion:A concluding summary highlighting future areas of research.
Citation and Reference Style
Style Manual:IJSDCS strictly utilizes the APA 7th Edition (American Psychological Association and the Havard Referencing Style) formatting style for all in-text citations and reference lists.
Peer Review & Publication Policies
Double-Blind Review:All submissions undergo an initial screening by the Editor-in-Chief. If the paper aligns with our scope, it is sent to at least two independent global scholars for anonymous review. The review process typically takes 4 to 6 weeks.
Open Access:IJSDCS is a Diamond Open Access journal. Accepted papers are immediately published online for free public reading and global download.
Submission Link:Manuscripts must be uploaded digitally through our secure portal dashboard. Email submissions will not be reviewed.
